The International Foundation for Valuing Impacts (IFVI) is an independent nonprofit bridging the gap between financial accounting and impact measurement. Founded in 2022, IFVI grew out of the Impact-Weighted Accounts Project at Harvard Business School. SNF is approved as a research organization by the Research Council of Norway and receives government funding.
SNF is a company within the NHH environment tasked with initiating, organizing, and carrying out externally funded research. We conduct research and research-based studies to support key decision-makers in both the private and public sectors. SNF adheres to the "Research Ethics Guidelines for Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, and Theology" issued by the National Research Ethics Committee for Social Sciences and Humanities (NESH). NHH and SNF have a joint integrity committee to ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards.
SNF is one of Norway's leading research environments in applied economic and administrative research. It maintains strong collaborative relationships with other research institutions both in Norway and internationally. Activities are conducted using SNF's dedicated staff and the academic resources available at NHH.
Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation (CET) is led from the Faculty of Social Sciences. The centre's goal is to produce actionable knowledge that can inform policy and practice about how to achieve rapid, just and deep transformation of society to mitigate climate change.
